LONG POST!!!!!!!

IM SORRY!!!! My blogging schedule has been SHITTY

So lets start at Denver. We drove all night to get to Denver in time.We checked in to the Hyatt Regency around 9am an after a short amount of time to decompress Ryan and I made our way to the original Chipotle. My meal was standard,Burrito,Coke,Guac however I noticed Chipotle had something new on their menu…POZOLE!!!!jk it wasn’t that good…

We rushed back to the hotel and got our “gig clothes” ready and made our way over to the venue, the Paramount Theater. This Building was amazing. It was built in 1929 and had been kept in great condition since. Before the show started the manager(ethane dad) let us know that the Vice President of ReMax was going ot be hanging out backstage during the show.He was truly a cool guy who really seemed interested in music and saving lives with his campaign”Children Miracle Network”.Some of the shows make Ethan,Ryan and myself think quick and learn songs on the fly.At the Denver show a local elementary school choir joined us and sung”We are the World” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”.Ethan’s ear is something I have never experienced, he picked up the arrangement and form after one listen. This kid is nuts, in the best of ways. The show was “Great Success” (ala Borat voice).Once our gear was packed we headed over to Dave and Busters for some drinks and CHEESEEEEECAKES.

We had the following day off so we rented a car and ran some errands, I needed to chill out and not think about anything so I went to a local Starbucks and a clothing store.I bought a V-Neck shirt for the first time in my life. Ive had skin tags for a while and recently had them removed. Its a confidence boast knowing that i don’t have gross skin growth on my neck.

Monday Morning we left towards Kansas City and our last trip with John…the first bus/bus driver. After the 10 hours of fun driving we met up with Wes(new driver/driver of the last tour) in Salina,KS soon after 8pm.We moved all of our luggage and gear from one bus to another. We then went towards Kansas City MO.

We checked into the Westin Crown Center Hotel around midnight, Ryan went to have a diet coke with a local friend and I freshened up in the room.Tuesday morning Ryan and I wandered over to the connected mall to our hotel. It was so bad,it was like that old mall no one goes to cause the new one is so much better.

Soon after we went to venue and set up quickly thanks to the roadies that were just awesome.Sound Check was quick too and allowed Ryan and I to go to Famous Daves BBQ 2 blocks away.after dinner we played a gig and had a blast doing so.

Yesterday Morning we left towards Detroit. We stopped in Fort Wayne Indiana over night and this morning pulled into Detroit. I need to get my Eminem/Motown on.

-Monday PART 2! After we had breakfast we drove up towards Seattle before making our stop at a truck stop and eventually our overnight stop in Red Bluff CA. Not much there, however we did enjoy a nice mexican meal and a rare hotel lobby event. We had dinner at Burrito Bandito… Burrito Bandito wasn’t very good. Its was like someone from northern CA went to Chipotle in LA and said to themselves”This idea would work back home”Yes a Chipotle would work.Burrito Bandito not so much. After dinner we hit up the local Starbucks and walked across the street back to our hotel. When we checked into the hotel I noticed the GIANT big screen that was in the lobby. You may ask, whats so significant about a big tv? Well I have my PS3 and madden…potential was there.Ryan and I asked if it was kosher for us to hook it up via HDMI cable and the receptionist said YES!!!!! We played madden for a bit then watched  some Netflix tv shows. It was a nice way to end the night after a long day of busssssinnn….btw i bought a new watch…really diggin this one.

-FRIDAY-SATURDAY-SUNDAY-MONDAY-

Its been a long and hectic weekend which included 2 shows on opposite parts of the California State and the Super Bowl (featuring tamales).BTW there will be a extensive photo slideshow. Enjoy! :)

-Friday was our first show with Ethan. This meant we also had a nice 4 hours  of rehearsal prior to the gig. The venue was the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. I was told the building survived the 1906 SF earthquake and has had a variety of uses in its100+ years of existence. A Masonic Temple,Movie Theater and now a AEG Live Music Venue. After rehearsal Ryan and I went in search for dinner. I can’t explain how pleased I was with what we found. CREPES!!!!!!!! It was a really small restaurant with one guy doing all the duties(cook, waiter, etc) My first crepe was a Swiss Cheese Turkey Pineapple concoction.Once I devoured it I moved on to the next crepe…Peanut Butter Strawberry Banana. It was more than delicious. It seriously was unbelievable. Once dinner was over Ryan and I rushed back just in time to play the first show. The show went surprisingly well despite being a new set and the first time we’ve played together. After the show we went back to the hotel to gather our things before taking the drive back to LA overnight. 8 hours later….

-Saturday. I got home and didn’t mention it to my parents or anyone so they were completely shocked when I walked through the doors! As I walked in I noticed my mom was dressed to go to breakfast so of course I joined them. My pops, mom, brother, joe and niece went to a great mexican place called “Jarrittos” My family had menudo while I enjoyed myself a chorizo and egg burrito. Right after breakfast I had to rush home and get ready for our 2pm call at Cerritos Performing Arts Center or CPAC. I had been to to CPAC to watch various shows but saturday would be my first time performing there. I was really excited for the show on saturday because my family and friends would be in attendance.A nice surprise at the show was my mentor, teacher and friend Alan Waddington. I wasn’t sure if he was coming so seeing him at the show was great. At the end of the show I had my family and friends meet me in the parking lot before giving them a tour of the Gibson West Tour Bus. We all went home asap. I was burnt out!

-Sunday was a chillllllllaxed day.i woke up around 11 and started to run errands with my brother as he left Monday(today) back to japan. We first hit up the Apple Store in Pasadena,he needed a new computer and I needed a new iphone case.I bought a orange one! Once we bought what we wanted, Ebiut and I made our way over to a local burger joint and had delicious foods. Once we had lunch we went back home to watch the Super Bowl with family and friends. It would be the last time my circle of friends would hang out together for a year. I forgot to mention the TAMALES! MY MOM COOKED HER MEXICAN A$$ OFF!!!! The Super Bowl was great and hanging out with my family and friends was the perfect way to spend my last day home for 5 weeks. Once the party died down, the packing started followed by some laundry a shower and finally some rest.

-Monday morning came realllllly fast. We had a 5 am bus call in cerritos. I wanna thank my dad for being the taxi for myself and my brother today.thanks. After loading my luggage into the bus we took off towards Seattle. I took a short nap and wok up in time for breakfast. Carls Jr was so good. Breakfast was over and now im still on the bus towards Seattle. I think we are stopping in Red Bluff…WHAT? where is that? I DONT KNOWhaha. thanks for reading my ramblessssssssssssss
